Our Faith
Statement of Faith - Alpha Bible College (ABC)
Our Statement of Faith serves as the unshakable foundation upon which our theological education is built. It is a testament to our commitment to biblical truth, spiritual growth, and unity within our diverse community, all for the glory of God.
Protestant and Non-Denominational
ABC proudly identifies as a Protestant and non-denominational institution, embracing individuals from diverse Christian backgrounds who unite under the core principles of the Christian faith.
The Bible as the True Word of God
We hold unwavering belief that the Bible, as stated in 2 Timothy 3:16-17, is the infallible, inspired Word of God, providing divine revelation and guiding principles for our faith and practice.
Belief in the God of the Bible
Our faith is firmly anchored in the God of the Bible, as revealed through Scripture. We worship the God described within its pages, recognizing His sovereignty, holiness, and attributes, as elucidated in passages like Psalm 145:3 and Isaiah 6:3.
Belief in the Holy Spirit
ABC acknowledges the person and work of the Holy Spirit, in line with John 14:16-17. We believe in His presence, guidance, empowerment, and His role in convicting hearts and transforming lives.
Belief in Jesus Christ
We affirm the biblical portrayal of Jesus Christ as the Savior and Lord, as emphasized in John 3:16. He is the central figure of our faith, the Son of God, fully God and fully human, who through His life, death, and resurrection, offers redemption to all who believe.
Belief in the Biblical Trinity
ABC unequivocally affirms the biblical doctrine of the Trinity – God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit – as depicted in passages such as Matthew 28:19. These three persons exist in perfect unity, sharing one divine essence.
Belief in Man's Fall and Sin
We acknowledge the biblical account of the fall of humanity in Genesis 3 and the pervasive nature of sin, as articulated in Romans 3:23.
Belief in Salvation through Grace and Jesus Christ
ABC embraces the biblical teaching that salvation is a gracious gift from God, attainable solely through faith in Jesus Christ, as affirmed in Ephesians 2:8-9.
Belief in the Church - Past, Present, and Future
We recognize the biblical significance of the Church, tracing its roots to the early Church as described in Acts 2, understanding its contemporary role as the body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12:27), and anticipating its future fulfillment in Revelation 21:2-4.
Belief in the End Times and Final Judgment
ABC adheres to the biblical teachings concerning the end times, the return of Christ (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17), and the final judgment (Revelation 20:11-15), as outlined within the Scriptures.
